The AEP 'Learn English Programme' is an intensive, one-to-one English language course, tailored exclusively for you and your language needs. During the course you live and learn English in your private teacher's home for comfort, for hospitality and, above all, for total immersion in the English language. On this course your teacher focuses on just one student, and that is you. This concentration on your language requirements almost guarantees rapid progress, particularly in speaking and understanding English.

The best way to learn English is with your two personal teachers and using the English language from morning to night. You benefit from excellent language teaching, extremely comfortable surroundings, excellent food and personal service, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Two teachers to one student results in maximum progress. You learn English at home with your two teachers. You live in the teachers' home and practise all the time. This is a total immersion course. Surrounded by the language and culture and your English develops naturally and quickly. Can't travel to Australia? Then learn English online instead! The CHEC online ESL program offers students 12 month self-study and 12 month teacher-led online English classes. All you need to study English online with us is a computer and reliable Internet access.

A typical Study Tour will include English classes attending one of the prestigious English Colleges in the Sydney area for half the day and followed by activities such as visits to a local school, Nature Parks, etc in the afternoons while living with an Australian family in Homestay accommodation. The English lessons are linked and designed around the afternoon activities to get a complete learning experience.

Homestay accommodation provides the opportunity for students to experience life in an Australian home and the chance to improve their English language skills. Students are provided with a bed, desk and adequate storage space for clothing in a single room. If the student is coming to Hawthorn-Melbourne with a friend or sibling, it is also possible to share a twin room in a homestay. The host prepares the evening meal every night, and provides the students with ingredients to make breakfast and lunch themselves. All hosts are personally interviewed by the Accommodation Office staff and are bound by a set of guidelines that make their obligations clear. Students also receive a copy of these guidelines on Registration Day, so that they also understand their rights and responsibilities.

Students come from France, Spain, Germany, and Mexico. In addition to the summer stays we also have groups of students on English study programs for three to four weeks at various times throughout the year.

There are a variety of short-term programs offered to our students wishing to experience life in the USA. Some of these programs include the standard Homestay Immersion, Nacel Open Door's Home Schooling, and the popular English language learning Tutorial opportunities. We also offer some Homestay PLUS programs, where students participate in some specially-scheduled activities.

IEP- This program is for students who want to improve their English for personal or job-related purposes. In this program, you will develop well-rounded English skills so you can express yourself in everyday and academic situations.

The West Moreton International English Language Centre offers intensive English language study through its NEAS accredited ELICOS course that links to High School Preparation and English language support in mainstream classes at West Moreton Anglican College. Our students choose from an extensive range of academic and vocational subjects all accredited by the Queensland Studies Authority.
